Welcome to Badsworth Parish Council

Badsworth is a lovely village situated in West Yorkshire and is approximately 10 miles South East of Wakefield and 10 miles North West of Doncaster. It has a population of approximately 600 people and is mainly a residential community centred round the Grade 1 Listed St Mary’s Parish Church and Badsworth Church of England Junior and Infant school.

Badsworth, in common with a lot of villages, has existed since before 1086 and is listed in the Doomsday Book as Badesuurde.
