Welcome to Badsworth Parish Council
Badsworth is a lovely village situated in West Yorkshire and is approximately 10 miles South East of Wakefield and 10 miles North West of Doncaster. It has a population of approximately 600 people and is mainly a residential community centred round the Grade 1 Listed St Mary’s Parish Church and Badsworth Church of England Junior and Infant school.
Badsworth, in common with a lot of villages, has existed since before 1086 and is listed in the Doomsday Book as Badesuurde.

The meeting is open to the press and members of the general public, however only persons on the current Badsworth electoral register have a right to speak at this meeting.
